Meitheal Mara – The Voyage has been selected for the IndieCork Film Festival. This documentary tells the story of our community boatyard in Cork and the huge impact it has had over the years, not just in teaching people about traditional boatbuilding skills but also in the personal development of its participants. Additionally, it showcases Cork’s maritime culture and explores how it can develop into the future.
World Premiere: Director Emma Bowell from Frameworks will be present to introduce her film.
The film is being shown along with a short on Cork Community Art Link and the Dragon of Shandon – there’s likely to be a run on the tickets.
